It’s time to reconcile wages to confirm everything is in the right box and submit Single Touch Payroll finalisations to the ATO on behalf of your employees. If you transitioned to STP2 during the year, the reconciliations may be trickier than usual as you’ll have a mishmash of reports. You need to make the lodgement on or before 14th July.
The ATO make take several hours to confirm acceptance, check to back to make sure everything is AOK. Employers no longer supply reports or group certificates to employees, everything is in MyGov and will show as Tax Ready.
