As we ready ourselves for Back to School (yay!), now is a good time to check you’ve recorded leave taken for all of your employees over the summer holidays. Perhaps team members have extended their leave or maybe you’ve suddenly become busy and asked them to come back early. Perhaps annual leave needs to be converted to sick/personal/carers leave.
Up to date leave records are important for you and your team
– they will want to know how much leave they have available to plan for the next holiday,
and you need to know what potential liabilities you have – how much will it cost you if someone leaves or you decide to close the doors for good.
Its much easier to keep records up to date as you go than recreate historical records when you are under pressure.
