Insurance Awareness Day

Are you aware of what business insurance you might need?

Public Liability – it is to protect your business from claims from 3rd parties of personal injury or property damage arising from your product or service.
Professional Indemnity – some industries require this. Medical professionals, accountants & bookkeepers, lawyers, engineers & architects are a few obvious examples.
Workers Compensation – to cover your workers if an accident or illness occurs at work. This is state based – if you operate in multiple states you will need multiple policies. The rules also vary per state.
Income insurance – there are lots of different kinds, your business structure (sole trader, company, trust, super big company) will play a part your selection process.
General business insurance – designed to cover your premises & contents and equipment. Your policy may also cover stock, machinery breakdown, technology & cyber or tax audit.
Motor Vehicle – for your company cars.
