Important changes to JobKeeper V1 effective 3rd August
Employee eligibility can be tested as at 1st July – this covers casuals for 12 months of service, new hires & eligible business participants.
You must nominate ALL your eligible employees under the one in all in rules.
Individual eligible employees can choose not to participate.
Keep calm – extra time to make minimum payments for newly eligible employees.
For the fortnights commencing on 3 August 2020 and 17 August 2020, the ATO is allowing employers until 31 August 2020 to meet the wage condition for all new eligible employees included in the Jobkeeper scheme under the 1 July eligibility test.
