Your business needs to measure ACTUAL turnover for the September 2020 quarter and compare to September 2019 using the same method as your BAS. Decline must be 30% or more to be eligible for JobKeeper2 payments. And the quarter hasn’t finished yet!
Any payment to staff made from today (regardless of the work period it relates to) belongs to JobKeeper2, and the minimum payment has decreased.
Not sure what to pay? It might be best to pay staff only for the hours they have actually worked until you can confirm your businesses eligibility and the appropriate tier for each employee.
You have until 31st October to make topups for the first 2 fortnights (28th September to 25th October).
