Small Business Fees and Charges Rebate from NSW Government

So you’ve submitted your final JobSaver or Micro Business Grant.
But have you looked at the small business fees and charges rebate?

If you are a sole trader or the owner of a small business in NSW, you may be eligible for the Small Business Fees And Charges Rebate of up to $2,000. There are 37 pages of possible fees and charges you could claim for.

These include:
– Tradesperson licences
– Planning Assessments – Development Application
– LSC Building and Construction Industry Portable Long Service Scheme levy
– Application for Re- Registration as a Practising Architect
– Licence/Certificate/Registration/Notification type – New Demolition DE1 & DE2
– Application for tattooist licence
– Council rates
– Vehicle registration – business use fee
– Road Tolls (for business use only)

The rebate can only be used for eligible state & local government fees and charges due and paid from 1 March 2021. It cannot be used for fines or penalties, Commonwealth government charges, rent on government premises, or taxes.

Online applications open now and close 30th June 2022.
