2018 has been a massive year for us – we’ve definitely earned our Christmas holidays! 🏖🏝
In January Nicole was filmed as part of a panel of ‘experts’ by Practice Ignition and Receiptbank to be shown at Xero roadshow events.
In February the Practice Ignition and ReceiptBank panel went live in Sydney right after the #XeroRoadshow event.
Hubdoc included us in their Top50 Cloud Accountants for the 2nd year running! 🏆 We were really chuffed to be recognised for our marketing efforts.
We grew our team to 5 with Bethany joining us.
We now have 3 team members in Sydney and 2 in Brisbane.
In May Receiptbank invited Nicole back to speak at a breakfast for bookkeepers and accountants about the benefits of using Receiptbank for our clients and our business. (spoiler alert – it makes #XeroAnywhere possible)
And Accountants Daily asked Nicole to join the panel for a live webcast to discuss value pricing.
(the billable hour was invented almost 100 years ago – time to retire!)
In July we celebrated our 21st birthday!! 🍾🎂🎈🎉🎈🎂🍾
Things really have changed in the last 21 years – and we are having more fun than ever and supporting more SMEs than we ever have!
Xerocon in September was the first time the whole team had gotten together – we spent a few days learning, catching up with peers and relaxing after the pressure End of Financial Year.
Later in September Nicole jetted off on a holiday to America ✈️🇺🇸 #DigitalNomad #XeroAnywhere #cloud
Which meant Monika has to fly the Streamline flag at The Bookkeeper Event – ABN conference at Seaworld. It’s wonderful to see industry peers from all over the county – and make some new friends too!
Monika backed up by attending the WCOA in Sydney in November. This event is hosted every 4 years by a different country – this was Monika’s 5th event.
Monika finished November by hosting the yellow bookkeeping stage, introducing friends and peers at Accountech.Live in Melbourne.
Phew 2018 has been HUGE!
It’s hard to imagine what 2019 will hold, we do know that we will be using cloud tech to support our clients to ‘streamline’ their business processes.
