From 13 November, myGovID will have a new name and new look. You don’t need to do anything to prepare for the change. Your myGovID app should automatically update to myID on your device.

The new streamlined look of Receiptbank/Dext has a collapsible menus for more workspace.
The main menu isn’t needed very often, so we keep in minimised all the time, now we can also shut down the secondary menu so we can see more of what we are working on.

Fair Work is updating the definition of a casual employee (not to casual Friday clothing or just being too relaxed at work!), this will take effect from Monday 26th August 2024. Casual Employment Information Statement and casual conversion rules will also be updated.

The media has hardly mentioned it at all, so you may have missed it – New tax tables are effective from the first pay date from 1st July.

The Fair Work Commission has decided to increase minimum wages by 3.75%, to $915.90 per week or $24.10 per hour, for the first full pay period after 1st July 2024.
Updated awards will not be published until 1st July – so add an item to your TO DO list for later.
