March BAS due dates
Did you know the March BAS has 3 different due dates depending on the lodgement method?
Regardless of method – ontime lodgement is important – the ATO can fine you.
Not enough ready cash? Lodge anyway to avoid fines and make a payment plan.

Changes to casual employment
On Friday 26 March 2021, the Fair Work Act 2009 (FW Act) was amended to change workplace rights and obligations for casual employees. The changes were made by the Fair Work Amendment (Supporting Australia’s Jobs and Economic Recovery) Act 2021 (Amendment Act).

March BAS time
It’s time to start preparing your March BAS.
Time to tuck some funds aside and make sure everything is reconciled.
The BAS due date is 25th May (using our agent extension).

Any staff hop off on an extra long Easter break?
Don’t forget to record when your staff take annual or sick leave to keep leave balances are up to date.

March quarter super is due soon
January-March super contributions must be received (by fund) by 28th April.
We will provide payment instructions shortly for our clients.
Ensure all pay runs are processed for the March quarter before making payments!
Payments should be authorised before 21st April – it can take up to 7 days to process.
Penalties will apply for late payments.

It’s time to submit your final JobKeeper claim
It is now time to submit March actual and April estimated sales to the ATO.
Reports need to be submitted by the 14th April for you to receive the very last JobKeeper payment for March wages.
