Back in 1997 the landscape was rather different – do you remember before GST was invented?
You would lodge Tax Office payments at the post office using your PAYE and PPS pink books.
The digital mobile network was still reasonably new, landline phone numbers were transitioning to 8 digits.
Laptops could be used as doorstops. Dial up internet was revolutionary, email was new fangled.
That was before desktop accounting systems were popular.
Steve Jobs just returned to Apple and a computer beats the world chess champion, google.com was registered and wifi was released.
The Kyoto protocol was signed.
The Lion King debuted on broadway. Final season of Seinfeld aired and Titanic was released.
