Xero classic invoicing for the win!

You are probably receiving notifications that its time to switch to new invoicing in Xero.
We recommend sticking with the cornflakes of invoicing (the original and still the best) at the moment.

Not all the ingredients we know and love have been updated for the new system. What is missing?
– Due date defaults to the invoice date, ignoring default settings.
– Default sending options (such as  email a copy to oneself) are not remembered and must be reselected with each use.
– The lack of ability to type a formula directly into the due date field, necessitating the use of a date picker
– Client’s address is not visible on screen within an invoice, unlike in the classic system.
– Invoice branding only visible when editing – crucial for multiple brands.
– Tracking categories are completely absent
– Inability to tab between fields, decreasing efficiency.
– Uploading documents directly from Xero Files is not possible.
– Missing functionality for expected payment date when adding a note to unpaid invoices.

Ignore the in app messaging for now, we’ll let you know when the boffins have built out the features as the switch-over deadline looms.
