JobKeeper monthly reporting
It is time to submit May actual & June estimated sales to the ATO.
This needs to be done by the 14th June for you to receive the JobKeeper payment for May wages.

Classifying your workers
Another court decision has called into question how employees are classified.
To paraphase the decision: calling a worker a casual doesn’t make them a casual.
The same applies for contractors.
When you classify the nature of a worker you need to look at how they do their job.

It’s BAS time! Now with added cashboost!
We need to lodge your March quarterly BAS by 25th May or you risk being fined by the ATO.
This the first BAS the ATO cashboost stimulus applies to.
The sooner we lodge, the sooner you receive the credit!
Worthy Wage Day
Your workers are worthy of being paid the correct wages – that is the award wage or higher.
If you are paying your staff a salary you need to run BOOT (Better Off Overall Test) to make sure you aren’t taking advantage of ‘free overtime’.

Not currently eligible? Keep checking & apply when you meet the turnover requirements. There are another 5 possible months to enrol.

You can enroll when you become or are about to become eligible (this could be in anytime between now and September).
