Casestudy:
Jim was working really hard, didn’t have any money in the bank and didn’t know who owed him money.
If you think you might be a Jim – give us a call, so we can design you a simple system to ‘streamline’ your business.

Today we are celebrating our 20+GST birthday
(that’s 22 years for those of you who aren’t bookkeepers)
It’s been quite a ride!

Add it to a burger 🍔 or even 🍕 pizza, but when it comes to bookkeeping – don’t get the rough end, use a registered BAS agent .

All employers need to start reporting each payrun (pay event) to the ATO by 30th September 2019.
Before you start there are a few things you need to know and do:

Do you love trees, but still print and file your tax source documents?
Would you love to go paperless and remain on the good side of the tax office?
We love more than just one tree and we are trying to keep them alive in forests by combining Hubdoc and/or Receiptbank and Xero.

What keeps you up at night?
Are you worried about being able to pay your bills on time?
Are you concerned that you might not be paying your staff correctly?
Just generally replaying business decisions you’ve made over and over in your mind?
Concerned that the tax office might pay you an unexpected visit (or worse – you’re already expecting the visit!)

From July 2019 the tax office will require all businesses to report all wage details (including tax and super), for all staff, on or before each and every payment. You will continue to pay your staff as normal, but the tax office will be tracking super payments on behalf of employees to make sure entitlements are being paid, on time!

How secure is your password and therefore your business data?
Small businesses seem to be easy targets for scammers, so how can you protect your business?
Take some time to review your data security and update your passwords to passphrases. (And maybe don’t stick your new password to your computer screen)

Got anything you need to fess up to?
To do our best work, we need our clients to be honest with us
If you’ve gotten your accounts into a jumble, we can work it out together, but we need to know all about your current situation to help you.
